The Pursuit of Happyness

In class we are watching "The Pursuit of Happyness" and analyzing it. We are looking for the things in the movie that make Will Smith's character want to change from the way he is living in the start of the movie. It starts with him not being able to provide for his family, and that shows that he's committed to his family and he wants to be able to care for them. Also, after Linda leaves, Christopher becomes Chris' main priority. He does everything that he can to take care of his kid. In one scene he is begging the landlord to let him stay just a little longer in their apartment because he has nowhere to take Christopher. Then again when he gets arrested the only thing he is worried about is who is going to take care of his son. Chris Gardner has a lot of determination but more importantly he loves his son and would do anything to make him happy. I think that that's something that should be very important to us too, our family should be our top priority, then they become a motivation for us to work hard and want to achieve better.
